Last weekend my roommate, Sarah, and friends Brock and Jamison came down to visit. Actually, Brock and Jamison came down because they started internships in Houston on Monday, and Sarah came to visit her family in Katy. I figured what better way to welcome the boys to Texas than with a Schlitterbahn trip. (If you don’t know about Schlitterbahn, 1. You’re seriously missing out and 2. I will tell you anything about it you want to know.) However, with constant thunderstorms and flash flood warnings, we decided to postpone Schlitterbahn and visit Space Center Houston instead. We saw the command center (as in “Houston, we have a problem!”), a Saturn V Rocket from the Apollo Program, the ejection seats that used to be included in return modules, and much more. We decided Jamison could make it as an astronaut, but Brock never will – he’s just too tall!
