Since I’ve been home…

As soon I got off the plane in Houston, I’ve had plenty to keep me busy. First one the list… toes. With plenty of reason to celebrate – a birthday, the end of finals, the coming of summer, and an internship among others – Mom, Soni, Karen, and I decided we were long over-due for some quality girl time.

So here we are before:

And after:

Clockwise from top we have Soni sporting ‘Divine,’ Karen in ‘The Thrill of Brazil,’ me wearing ‘Friar, Friar, Pants on Fire!’ and Mom modeling, ‘Revved-up-'n'-Ready .’

Once the toes were done, we moved on to the wedding. Both Alisha’s dad and mine are chemical engineers. What’s more, both of our families moved to Texas about the same time. To top it off our parents bought houses next door to each other and we were only 4 weeks apart in age and both our families are LDS. Given the unusual circumstances (let’s face it, Texas and Provo member density), it was inevitable that we became fast friends. So it was really special to be home for Alisha’s wedding. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the day.

The rest of my stories will have to wait until tomorrow...
